The timeline reset was such an exciting idea that it quickly inspired three different adaptations. The appeal of the New 52 was that the new universe gave comic writers more room to create new stories, new origins, and new versions of old characters. More than ten years later, fans and industry insiders still debate whether relaunching the universe was a good editorial move, but there is no doubt that Flashpoint presented exciting potential for the DC Universe. This led to the creation of the New 52 universe, which canceled and rebooted every DC comic series (even Superman and Batman). To this day, Flashpoint is considered one of DC Comics’ biggest events because it changed everything so much. The giant story was told as a 5-issue event series with over 50 tie-ins showing how the new timeline affected the other DC characters. When Flash (Barry Allen) goes back in time to undo a personal tragedy, the repercussions affect the entire DC universe. Flashpoint is a special 2011 comicbook crossover by Geoff Johns and Andy Kubert. ![]() 5/22/2023 0 Comments Shock & Awe by Abigail Roux![]() ![]() He's not surprised when fellow Sidewinder Nick O'Flaherty stays with him in New Orleans. ![]() Īfter barely surviving a shootout in New Orleans, Sidewinder medic Kelly Abbott has to suffer through a month of recovery before he can return home to Colorado. It was out of character his interest in children was slender. This was at its worst on his birthday for a few years when sycophants organized groups of children, with flowers and copious photographing, to parade with him. ![]() The acting was never worse than the pose of Cha Cha (Uncle) Nehru with the children. Sir Walter Crocker, mentioned in Nehru's biography Nehru: A Contemporary Estimate (1966) that Nehru did not really have time for or enjoyed the company of children. He was known for many other great things and he should be remembered for them than regarding children. He created some great institutions that stood the test of time. Nehru had said that, 'The future of our country lies with the younger generation' and in fact future of any country lies with the younger generation and that saying does not prove his fondness.
